The catalogue's cabinet of curiosities: everything real that doesn't fit the eight groups above. Whip spiders that move sideways and read the world through antenna-like legs, vinegaroons that spray concentrated vinegar, assassin bugs with genuinely painful bites and theatrical hunting styles, giant walkingsticks, flower beetles, velvet worms, camel spiders, and the occasional harvestman.

Nothing general is true across this group except one thing: the rules are per-animal, so the species page matters more here than anywhere else on the site. Risk runs from literally zero (walkingsticks, beetles) through memorably painful (the wheel bug and its relatives) without any visual logic connecting them. Lifespans run from one season to many years. Some are colonies, some are individuals, some are architecture you will never see move.

The market is thin, seasonal, and specialist by construction: most of these animals are wild-collected incidentally, supplied in single listings, and priced without much competition, which means a listed price reflects one seller's judgment more than a market.
