Privacy Policy

The short version. FangTrack is a market-intelligence tool for the exotic-invertebrate hobby, currently in private beta. We collect the minimum needed to run your account, we don't sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it any time.

What we store

• Account: your email and a one-way hashed password (we never see the plaintext).
• Your collection & watchlist: the species, quantities, and any purchase details you enter. Purchase prices are private to you — they are never shown on public profiles or leaderboards.
• Usage basics: standard server logs (IP, timestamps) for security and debugging.

What we send you

Only what you opt into: watchlist alerts and digests. No marketing spam. You control email preferences in Settings.

Vendor & price data

Listing and price data is aggregated from public vendor websites for informational purposes. FangTrack is not affiliated with any vendor, and prices shown may lag the vendor's live site — always confirm price and source (CB/WC) with the seller before buying.

Your choices

You can make your collection public or private, and you can request account and data deletion by emailing us. As a beta, features and data may change or reset.
