Bornean and Indonesian arboreals, and one of the more genuinely difficult groups regularly available. P. everetti, P. arboricola, P. sp. Rufus.
Fast, old world, arboreal, and inclined to bolt into the room rather than up the cork bark. Venom is not well studied but the family it sits in argues for caution. These are not spiders to open casually.
Supply depends on Southeast Asian collection and European breeding, both irregular. Prices are firm and move noticeably when a European breeder has a successful year, which is the clearest example on the site of how thin the supply chain for some of these animals really is. Sp. Rufus in particular has swung more than most.
