Colombian and Venezuelan dwarfs, and P. sp. 'Blue' has carried a premium for years on colour that is genuinely present rather than a lighting effect.
Small, under three inches, semi-fossorial, heavy webbing, and quick. Undemanding husbandry and a good option for a keeper with limited space and real interest in the animal rather than the size.
Most of the genus trades under sp. designations because description work has not kept pace, and the blue form is the only one with any meaningful demand. That concentration is worth noting: the premium is on one label within the genus, and the other species sell for very little despite comparable husbandry and availability. If you want a Colombian dwarf rather than a specific colour, the discount is sitting right there.
