Domestic Breeders & Small Vendors

List your animals →

DBSV is for sellers with no website — domestic breeders and small vendors that historically sell through Facebook groups and DMs. The program is application-only. They post their own inventory, and you, the buyer, arrange the sale with them directly. DBSV prices show up on species pages, but do not affect market data or Deal listings to prevent price manipulation. Buying safely ↗

Nobody is listed yet. The programme is new — we are approving the first sellers by hand.

What we ask of you

Four things. They exist because buyers compare prices across the whole site, and a listing that can't be compared honestly is worse than no listing at all.

1. Post a flat shipping rate, and never charge above it

Give us one number you ship for. You may always charge less — free shipping over a threshold, a local discount, whatever you like — but a buyer must never be asked for more at checkout than the rate shown here. FangTrack shows a delivered cost, so a rate that moves after the click makes every comparison on the page wrong.

2. Keep one stock sheet current

A Google Sheet you own and update — species, size, sex, price, and how many you have. FangTrack reads it once a day, the same way we read a shop's website. You edit the sheet; the site follows. Sell an animal, take the row out or set the count to zero, and it comes off FangTrack on the next read.

The column layout is on the application form, with a starter sheet you can download. If you already keep a list, it is usually a rename of the headers rather than a rebuild.

3. Get verified before you go live

A short check that you are who you say you are and that you're actually shipping animals — references from the hobby, a group or show you sell at, or a couple of buyers who'll vouch. Nothing invasive, and nothing published without asking you first. It is the whole reason a buyer can trust a seller here who has no website of their own.

4. Have a clear way to take payment

PayPal, Venmo, or your own checkout through something like Stripe or Link — we don't mind which, and you can offer more than one. What matters is that a buyer arriving from FangTrack can see how they pay before they commit, and that it's a method you actually settle through. We never handle the money and never see it.

What we don't do

  • We don't handle payment. A buyer contacts you and you sell to them as you do now.
  • We don't hold stock, ship anything, or get involved in a sale.
  • We don't sell your details, and we don't publish your address.
  • We don't rank sellers by who pays — nobody pays.

What it costs

Nothing. FangTrack takes no listing fee, no commission and no cut of a sale. Every listing links straight to you and we take nothing when somebody buys. There is no paid tier and no plan to add one.

Apply

Applications are read by hand. You keep a stock list in a Google Sheet, we read it once a day, and your animals appear on species pages beside the shops. No site to build, no fees, no commission.

We reply either way. It is one person doing this, so give it a few days.
