The curly isopods: European species that conglobate into a distinctive elongated curl rather than a sphere, pale-fringed and fast-moving for the body plan.
They are hardy, ventilation-loving, and tolerant of drier setups than the tropical premium species, working equally as display cultures and cleanup crews. Reproduction runs at the brisk European rate, colonies establish easily, and the keeping asks for nothing beyond litter, calcium, and neglect.
The fast-breeding rule prices the genus: any premium erodes quickly because every established culture generates surplus, and the market floor arrives within a couple of seasons of any form's introduction. Wild-type stock is effectively free across its range. This is the familiar isopod economics, and the curl is the only thing the genus charges for.
The line on each tile: lowest ask per day.
Rarity BETA Rarity is supply, and only supply: the tier is how many sellers have ever carried a species, and for a single seller, how many separate listings. Price is not part of it, and neither is how recently it appeared. Tiers are given to tarantula species only.
