Genus Anqasha
A Peruvian genus erected in the 2020s, which means the hobby is still writing its first care sheets. The described species are small to moderate banded terrestrials from the Andean foothills, keeping consistent with the Peruvian small-terrestrial cluster: substrate depth, moderate humidity, nothing exotic. New World, urticating hairs present.
Most published guidance is extrapolated from neighboring genera, and most of what trades under Anqasha is sp. locality and color forms rather than the described species, which inverts the usual reliability order.
New genera enter the trade at novelty premiums, and the history of those premiums is consistent: they do not last. The described names will outlive the words around them, and the price structure will follow the descriptions.
