Genus Coremiocnemis

Southeast Asian and Australian fossorials, and another genus caught in the long reshuffle of that region's taxonomy. C. tropix out of Queensland and the Malaysian species are what circulate.

Burrowing, moderate size, fast, old world temperament, and generally unremarkable in color with some bronze on a fresh molt. Standard Asian fossorial husbandry: depth, warmth, and leaving them alone.

Australian material effectively does not export, so anything sold as an Australian Coremiocnemis outside that country is either long-established captive stock or mislabeled. Supply is irregular, and species names in this genus should be treated as approximate. That is not a criticism of any particular vendor, it is the state of the group.
