Asian green huntsman spiders: leaf-toned, flat, and fast, wearing genuine green in a family that mostly runs bark-brown.
The huntsman program governs: vertical surfaces, crevices, cross ventilation, and an enclosure opened with intent, because the speed is the whole defensive and offensive repertoire. Not medically serious. The green fades between molts and after death, which is why listing photographs of this genus vary so widely for the same species.
Southeast Asian wild-caught pulses supply a thin trade, identification depends on the exporter, and the color commands the premium over generic huntsman stock. The keeping experience underneath is the universal huntsman one, and the color that justifies the markup is also the least stable thing about the animal.
The line on each tile: lowest ask per day.
Rarity BETA Rarity is supply, and only supply: the tier is how many sellers have ever carried a species, and for a single seller, how many separate listings. Price is not part of it, and neither is how recently it appeared. Tiers are given to tarantula species only.
