150+ Grammostola Tarantulas for Sale from 57 Sellers
South America's answer to Brachypelma. Slow, terrestrial, long-lived, forgiving. G. pulchripes and G. pulchra are the two most keepers actually recommend now.
G. rosea, the old pet store default, has earned its reputation for fasting for a year and sitting motionless in one corner. It is not sick. It is a rose hair. Females across the genus can pass twenty years, and growth is glacial.
That slowness is the price structure. A sling is four to six years from adult size, and that patience is what a sexed subadult female is really charging you for. G. pulchra is the case study worth watching: it was a genuinely expensive spider for years, and steady captive breeding has walked the price down without any drop in demand.
The line on each tile: lowest ask per day.
Rarity BETA Rarity is supply, and only supply: the tier is how many sellers have ever carried a species, and for a single seller, how many separate listings. Price is not part of it, and neither is how recently it appeared. Tiers are given to tarantula species only.
